What:
We are looking for participants for a study on visual attention. The study involves a motion discrimination task on a computer screen. While you perform the task, we record eye movements, accuracy and reaction time. Thereby, we want to find out how your attention changes influences motion perception.
Who:
You can take part in the study if want to support scientific research and earn a small amount of extra money. We are looking for people who:
Have normal sight (no glasses, contact lenses, etc.)
Have no history of neurological or current mental disorders (Migraine, Epilepsy)
Are available for three different sessions on different days. On the first appointment you will have a training session to get familiar with the task. On the two following experimental sessions you will perform the task regularly.
Payment:
Participants will receive a compensation of 8 Euros per hour.
Where & When:
The study takes place at the German Primate Center (Hans-Adolf-Krebs-Weg 7, 37077 Göttingen). Appointments for the session will be scheduled via email. Each session lasts approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
