It’s bad manners to talk about money. Unless you’re in Finance & Accounting or Controlling & Analysis—the two large teams comprising Finance at BCG. Not only do these professionals talk about money all the time, they also really have to know what they’re talking about, since they’re responsible for accounting, taxes, payroll, travel management, and time and billing at BCG. In addition to purely financial workflows, they also ensure that our consultants have the best possible basis for making decisions in our various markets.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Working Student, you will support the team in creating monthly reports using Excel, PowerPoint, and other big data analytics tools, such as Tableau. In addition, you’ll create database analyses for various recipient groups (consultants or department heads) and will be involved in the planning phases and various controlling projects. You can expect a varied and challenging job in a modern, innovative working environment. In addition, you will also take on administrative tasks and be an integral part of the controlling team in Central Europe.

YOU’LL WORK WITH

As a Working Student, you’ll be part of the  Central Europe Finance Team, which totals more than 50 members.  Locally, you will work closely with four experienced controllers and also collaborate with three more controllers across the CE region. At the beginning, you will receive a structured onboarding process, during which an experienced colleague will guide you and introduce you to the most important tools and workflows. This will enable you to quickly familiarize yourself with your tasks and take on responsibilities.

Our team places great importance on open communication and mutual support. As a result, you will benefit from intensive knowledge sharing and will continue to develop both professionally and personally.
