YOUR TASKS
Teaching Hebrew for 12 to 16 semester hours, depending on the scope of other tasks
Coordination of Hebrew language curriculum
Adaptation or creation of appropriate teaching and learning materials
Administering Hebrew language exams
Supervision of the Institute Library, including collection management and purchasing, budget planning and user support
Participation in academic self-administration
YOUR PROFILE
A Master‘s degree or higher in Hebrew language, Jewish Studies or a related field is required; a doctorate is an asset
Hebrew native speaker or equivalent
Experience in language teaching or comparable experience in a university environment
Excellent German and/or English language skills
Several years of relevant work experience

The position is available from 01.10.2025 on a full-time basis (39,83 hours per week). This is a permanent position. If the applicant meets the relevant wage requirements and personal qualifications, the salary will be based on remuneration group 13 TV-L of the pay scale for the German public sector.
