Student Assistant (HiWi) f/m/div Technical Development & Research Support
About the project
We are currently expanding our technical team and seeking a motivated student assistant who is enthusiastic about AI, automation, and research-to-application workflows. As a student assistant, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our software stack, research tools, and infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct literature reviews on relevant AI and optimization methods
Contribute to the implementation and benchmarking of new algorithms
Support the design of test environments and evaluation pipelines
Help build and maintain GitHub repository structure and documentation
Education & Experience
The ideal applicant should have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields
Strong programming experience in Python and/or C++
Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaboration
The ability to work independently and proactively
Good communication skills in English
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A high degree of organization and a natural team player
It is a plus if you have:
Experience with AI/ML libraries

Students without a bachelor's degree will be paid 13.80€ per hour. Students with a bachelor’s degree will be paid 14.40€ per hour. Working time: up to 10 hours per week. The contract is given per semester.
