About the project

We are currently expanding our technical team and seeking a motivated student assistant who is enthusiastic about AI, automation, and research-to-application workflows. As a student assistant, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our software stack, research tools, and infrastructure.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature reviews on relevant AI and optimization methods

  • Contribute to the implementation and benchmarking of new algorithms

  • Support the design of test environments and evaluation pipelines

  • Help build and maintain GitHub repository structure and documentation

Education & Experience

The ideal applicant should have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields

  • Strong programming experience in Python and/or C++

  • Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaboration

  • The ability to work independently and proactively

  • Good communication skills in English

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A high degree of organization and a natural team player

It is a plus if you have:

  • Experience with AI/ML libraries

Students without a bachelor's degree will be paid 13.80€ per hour. Students with a bachelor’s degree will be paid 14.40€ per hour. Working time: up to 10 hours per week. The contract is given per semester.
